Influenza Vaccine Update–All Flu Vaccine is Available

We now have all Influenza Vaccines available, including the flu shot for children 3 years and older.

As a reminder if your child is 8 years of age or younger and never had flu vaccine in the past, your child should receive 2 doses of flu vaccine 4 weeks apart to maximize the effectiveness of the vaccine. It is recommended that everyone 6 months of age and older should receive flu vaccine.

If you are interested in your child receiving flu vaccine, please call the office for a “shot only” appointment.

Influenza Vaccine Update–Flu Mist is Available

We have Flu Mist available for children 2 years of age and older and who do not have a contraindication to receiving a live viral vaccine.

We also have influenza vaccine shot for children 3 years of age and older, and the child has a contraindication to the Flu Mist and should receive the flu shot.

We still have not received our influenza flu shot for children between 6 months of age to 3 years of age. We will keep you posted on the influenza shot for children between 6 months to 3 years old. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.

Just as a reminder, if your child is 8 years of age or younger and has never received flu vaccine in the past, the child should receive 2 doses of flu vaccine 4 weeks apart. If your child is in this age range and has never received influenza vaccine, please remind us.

Flu vaccine is recommended for everyone 6 months of age and older.
